Sitwell Park Golf Club is located Rotherham just 10mins from the M18/M1, this is an ideal venue for any private function. Whether your looking for room hire for meetings, funeral or to hold a wedding reception, Sitwell offers a wide range of rooms for various size parties at competitive rates. Our own in-house Chef, can cater for parties up to 200 guests with a selection of delicious table or buffet options. Our well-stocked bar offers a good selection of beers, lagers, wines, spirits and cask ales.

Meet our head chef
Dan is the Head Chef, with a love for classic British cooking and a real focus on flavour, balance, and presentation. His style is rooted in tradition but shaped by his travels around Europe — especially Greece, France, and Italy — where simple ingredients and honest cooking take centre stage.
Seasonality is at the heart of Dan’s menus. He works closely with local suppliers to make the most of produce at its best, creating dishes that are as satisfying to eat as they are to look at.
Known for his calm and approachable leadership, Dan believes great food should feel welcoming and memorable — whether it’s a beautifully refined dish or a comforting classic done properly.
Dan’s path into the kitchen wasn’t a typical one. He began his career as a school teacher before realising his true passion lay in food. Since then, he has built his skills by working alongside talented chefs in pubs, bars, and restaurants across South Yorkshire, developing a strong connection to the local food scene.
As Head Chef, Dan leads menu development, kitchen operations, and team training, always with an emphasis on teamwork, respect for ingredients, and a genuine love of the craft. For him, the best food comes from thriving kitchens and a shared passion for cooking.
