Seniors
We have a thriving Seniors Section at Sitwell Park Golf Club, arguably the largest and most successful Seniors Section in the region. The Seniors Section has in excess of 100 Male & Female members. The minimum qualifying age is 55. When joining the Seniors Section you will find an inclusive membership taking part in friendly, competitive weekly in-house Competitions and playing a variety of inter club home and away matches.
The end of the calendar year finishes with the Seniors Annual Christmas Dinner, where we celebrate the golfing seasons winners with prize presentations for all the Seniors Competitions and the Seniors Golfer Of the Year.

Seniors Section supports local charity
Dear Senior Section Members and Officials
On behalf of everyone at Age UK Rotherham I would like to say a massive thank you for your very generous donation of £1,231 to the charity.
We are delighted to be the captain’s charity this year, and we’ve been working with Paul and Wendy on events and fundraising, so we were aware of some of the monies raised, but this was a complete surprise and very much appreciated.
The money raised means we can continue to help older people in Rotherham, with advice and information, hospital aftercare services and practical help. The support we offer can be life-changing for many people, helping to maintain their independence and quality of life as they get older. It gives individuals and their carers the opportunity to take part in activities that will help them to stay healthy and active; maintain social contacts and mix with people from different generations.
I have attached a certificate of thanks that I hope you can find a place to display.
Once again thank you to everyone for your kind and generous support.
Warmest regards
Age UK Rotherham
